Dad was off to the hospital this a.m. for his first day of work there. He was pretty nervous, but it sounds like he had a good time. There were 7 new employees at their clinic, but there were orientations also going on in Eau Claire and Marshfield and one other spot and they communicated between the places some, too. Of the 7, two were people he already knew from his past work experiences.
We had breakfast together, since he didn’t have to leave until 7:10, and he was also home for supper, actually a little earlier than he usually will be. Then he was off to Chippewa at about 6:00 to work there 4 hours and be home at about 10:30. It is a bit of a grind, but he wants to do it for three or four weeks to wrap things up in Chippewa and make a little extra money while he can.
I’m very busy getting my Wildtree business started, so I don’t mind being home alone in the evening. I spend a lot of time on the phone or the computer anyway.
Here is proof he works at the hospital now!
I love both photos!
Lakeview is the name of the clinic we go to– that should be easy to remember 🙂
In our case, Lakeview is the hospital and Marshfield Clinic is the clinic, except that I’m pretty sure the clinic bought the hospital, too. They just kept the same name as before.
How fun! 🙂
