I have a kind of busy weekend, because I have an operetta practice today from 1 – 4 and another tomorrow from 3 – 6. Different operettas, actually. I’m substituting for the regular rehearsal accompanist for the one today, but the one tomorrow is my regular one. We started rehearsing that one last Sunday. It only has two characters and one is a professional from the Cities. Young, but very, very good. The other is a local student. Not bad…

It is beautiful here today, so I’ve been doing some last minute yard work – getting sticks burned, doggie doos picked up, etc. I’ll get the rest of the leaves raked up next.  Nothing else very exciting planned. Work on the house. Enjoy the weather.
