Friday already

Where did the week go? After another busy Thursday, I’m ready for Friday. Yesterday was Dining at 5 at work, so I could only give lessons there until 4:30. Hopefully by next month I will have permission to use the choir room for those lessons once a month. Then I won’t have to deal with the noise and won’t have to cancel two. But for this week, I just canceled them and came home, where we ordered a pizza (only $5 for a 12 inch on Thursdays at the bar down the street), and ate supper together. But I had to be at choir by 6:30 to do solo auditions. Then regular rehearsal from 7 – 8:30. Then rehearsal for the chorus part in Ahmal and the Night Visitors until 9:30. Long night!

We got a lot accomplished at work yesterday, so today should be an easy day. 3 classes only, since I dropped line dancing for the winter as people are leaving to go south and the class is dwindling.  The National Honor Society kids are taking over my Meals on Wheels route for the rest of the school year, so I won’t have to do that during the cold months. (Yea!) Then to the gym for a short workout and home. Dad works at the Garage tonight, so I’ll probably just watch a movie after I get my practicing and studying done.

Still can’t find the camera. Dad thinks it is at the Garage, so maybe I’ll have it by tomorrow.

How nice that the NHS students will be taking over your route–I remember doing that in H.S. too. 🙂

I’m waiting on pins and needles to see the progress of your amaryllis. Does it just bloom at Christmas? I’ve never had one…

It blooms at Christmas if you plant it early enough in the fall. I think they are just thought of as Christmas plants. So I had it growing last year, then cut it off and stored the bulb for a few months. Then I put it in the fridge, which I guess lets them know it is time to bloom once they get where it is warm again. The problem is that it didn’t bloom at all last year. Got great leaves, but no bloom. By now the bulb is really big, so I sure hope it decides to bloom. They are just gorgeous.
