We woke up this morning to another layer of snow – about 4 inches, when they had predicted a dusting! Actually I didn’t even know they had predicted anything, so I was really surprised when I let Sherlock out. Oh, well. Shoveling snow is such good exercise. What ever will I do when there isn’t any more to shovel? The real frustration today is that no one seems to bother to open the end of the block up, so when I went for my walk I had to walk on the street a lot. Then when I got home to my own block, I couldn’t even walk down it because the lot before mine wasn’t shoveled at all. Lot of good it does for me to shovel section if the one after mine isn’t shoveled. Grrrrr. 35 days until “spring” (that would be April 15).
I just got three new piano students – all different families, too. I started one last week and am waiting for him to come right now. The other two I had to put on Tuesdays, but I had to make them wait a couple weeks since I’m going to be out of town tomorrow afternoon as well as a week from tomorrow. But they will still have a little over a month of lessons before summer break – just enough for them to see if they like it and want to come back next year. But three new students – that’s just amazing!
That is so cool that you got three new piano students!
