Haha! Poor Sherlock can’t get away with that one! The benefits of being smaller, eh? Are they getting along well? Or is she trying to get away from Sherlock?
They absolutely LOVE each other. It is just adorable to watch. She licks him in the face or in the ear. He pretends to be biting her and growling, but he’s just playing. She uses his back as a route to get up on things or just to put her feet on when she wants to be taller. They curl up together most of the time when they are sleeping. In fact, after I’d taken this picture, I checked on them again and she had moved to the ground to curl up beside him. The great thing is that neither one is a dominant dog, so when I put something on the floor they share it without any growling or fighting. If Pippi comes in and starts eating Sherlock’s food, he just lets her, so we have to lock her out of the bedroom and put his food in there, so he gets to eat it all. She just wolfs hers down and is finished way before him. The only thing she doesn’t want to share is a rawhide bone when it is still new.

That’s so wonderful! It sounds like they almost couldn’t be more perfectly matched! 🙂
