We worked on the house again today and I brought the camera, so here are a few shots. First a before and after of the basement that I hauled stuff out of, so Dad would have room to work on the heat runs.
The next picture is of one of the rooms that Gary finished mudding and taping for us a couple weeks ago.
And now, a couple pictures of Dad working on putting in registers.
I burned today, because there was no wind. But first I had to dig down to find the burning spot, so the fire was surrounded by snow. After the fire was done, there were cool formations around where it had been.
And, of course, Sherlock was with us.
I just can’t stop taking pictures of him – he is just soooooo photogenic! He always looks sad, though, which he isn’t. He loves coming with us, although he is afraid to go down the basement steps.
And one more picture that I took outside because I thought it looked cool. It is the top of one of last years peonies poking through the deep snow.
Sounds like an awesome day!! I love seeing the work you’re doing on your houses. 🙂
And Sherlock is getting so much white around his muzzle! How old is he now? Almost 10?
Love you!
Same as Ethan, except his birthday is on your birthday. So he will be 9 in a couple weeks. And yes, that is gray hair all over his face! Never had a dog get old so young.
I love seeing pictures too! You’re really making nice progress on the house–at first I didn’t recognize the sheetrocked room! 🙂
I know – its starting to look like it will actually be turning into a rental during my lifetime! I love that window between the two rooms, because you can see the back yard from the front room which is really cool when you have a beautiful back yard. Plus you are looking down a bit, so you don’t see any neighboring houses – just the garden. And the work we’ve done on the basement will make it a much more appealing house to renters. I can’t wait to see how much we can get for it.
