Dad and I somehow caught the stomach flu the same day. He came home from work sick on Monday. I started feeling bad about the time I was leaving after practicing at the middle school. But I didn’t dare go to bed, because I wanted to be alert for the concert that night. Dad drove me and I made it through alright, although it wasn’t my most fun concert! I went home and right to bed. The next morning Dad was up and off to work, but I felt so bad I went back to bed. But I couldn’t find anyone to open the Center, so I got up and went to work. I actually didn’t feel awful once I got up and going. By this afternoon I am feeling about back to normal and I think Dad is, too. We thought it was maybe something we had eaten, but I guess Dad found out that this bug is going around. But, enough of that…

My week has, otherwise, been filled with wondering how both of our sons are doing on their different adventures. Luke has an offer and counter offer in, so I’m waiting to hear how that goes and Nathan has another situation I’m waiting to hear on. Makes the days go slower when you keep checking the webpages and e mail every hour! Fortunately Kylene and Erica seem to be cruising along like normal.

Practice at the Methodist Church tonight, then back to Roselawn for the second day tomorrow – their concert is this coming Monday. Friday, I also go to Cameron Elementary for a practice. Their programs are next week. Fun time of the year! But I’m glad people are able to get along without me at work, because I’m missing quite a bit this week.
